Wolf was an Awesome dog. Strong as hell, he didn’t like women all that much but was very protective of my Mother.

Arthur C. Clarke is one of my favorite science fiction writers and was an incredibly intelligent human being. His predictions of the future where at times so accurate that actual devices have been created mimicking his descriptions, the most famous of which are the countless communication satellites now orbiting the Earth.

This abbreviated version of the short story captures the essence of the story very well.

Well, that wasn’t all that hard to do.
I will be playing with the themes quite a bit now I think (only had two that worked with Buddypress and dozens that will work now).

Our memories are the essence of who we are. But our memories are not merely a record of the past, rather our memories are a guide to both the present and the future. What we remember influences how we learn new things, the decisions we make in the present, and goals to which we aspire in the future. Join Dr. Alison Preston as she explores how the human brain builds memories that can be used to anticipate future events.

Just down the street from here. My youngest child went there. The library was awesome. The next nearest elementary school is only a mile and a half away though. They are supposed to retain the staff, just not guaranteed to be the next nearest school. 😐

While in the Marines, I did a whole series of reflection photographs. I’ll have to see if I have them scanned somewhere.

This reminds me of Koko the Gorilla. When no one was around, Koko managed to rip a sink out of the wall in her habitat. When her handlers returned, they asked Koko who ripped out the sink.

Koko signed, “The cat did it.” 🙄
